Akinwande Soji-Ojo
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has won at the polling unit of former Governor Rashidi Ladoja.
There were reports that Ladoja was not in support of Makinde’s second term ambition, but some of the former governor’s associates debunked the claims, saying it were just rumours.
Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 98 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Teslim Folarin, who scored 35 votes at the polling unit.
Ladoja votes at ward Polling Unit 17, Ward 10, in Ibadan North Local Government Area of the state.
