Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has won in his polling unit.
Makinde, who voted at Unit 1, Ward 11, in Ibadan North East Local Government, polled 174 votes to defeat others.
His closest challenger, Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 28 votes at the unit while Accord Party candidate, Bayo Adelabu, had five votes to come third at the unit.
The presiding officer, Emmanuel Oduyela, announced the result at 4:05pm.
PDP also scored 160 votes at the polling unit while APC garnered 30 votes. Accord had nine and the Labour Party (LP) scored five votes.
In a related development, Makinde was announced winner of the polling unit of governorship candidate of Accord, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.
Makinde of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 60 votes to defeat Adelabu, who scored 38 votes. Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had 22 votes.
Adelabu cast his vote at polling unit 10, Ward 9 , Ibadan South East Local Government Area.
