Maku in PDP’s trouble…”He’ll fail for the rest of his life” – party

Former Minister of Information and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Nasarawa State, Labaran Maku, on Tuesday came under attack from his former party, the PDP. The party said at the PDP presidential rally Lafia that it would ensure Maku fails for the rest of his life.

Maku, after losing the governorship ticket of the PDP had to the chagrin of the party, defected to APGA.

The Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Council, Ahmadu Ali, led the verbal assault on Maku.

His words: “We have a young man who from nowhere was a Deputy Governor of this state for four years, from nowhere he was made a Minister at the federal level for six years; he decided to leave the party for another party and keep telling lies that by being in that party, he is helping us.

“He is only going there to reduce our votes. He is a dangerous boy.

“We must make sure that now that he has shown his colour, he will continue failing for the rest of his life unless he retraces his steps back to the elders like us and we will forgive him.”

Mr. Ali then urged the electorate in the state to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan and other candidates of the party at both federal and state levels.
