Senator Olorunimbe Mamora, Dr. Usman Bugaje and PauIine Tallen, have been removed from the revised non-career ambassadorial nominees list submitted to the senate on Thursday by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Senate had last year rejected the list of the 47 non-career Ambassadorial nominees of President Buhari due to the high number of petitions against some most of the nominees. Some nominees also rejected their nominations either because they were not consulted or for one political reason or the other.
President Buhari’s letter on the nominees was read on the floor of the Senate Thursday morning by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The FCT that was not on the list has been included in the new list with Ibrahim Ugbada.
