A man, identified as Upali Pelige (pictured above), allegedly stabbed his wife because she didn’t want to have sex with him.
The two have been married for only eight months but lived apart, sources said. The incident happened at his wife’s home on in East New York.
Officials said Pelige, 40, stabbed his wife in the face, neck, head and body after he made sexual advances during a visit at 4:30 a.m.
The man ran off after stabbing the woman, who was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital and placed in a medically induced coma, authorities said.
Cops eventually arrested Pelige.
