Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg breezed into Lagos unannounced on Tuesday afternoon.
He was at the CoCreation hub, a tech incubation centre, in Yaba, Lagos.
The tech billionaire is expected to visit the campus. He is also expected to participate at the Facebook’s developer workshop beginning tomorrow.
Zuckerberg, and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are interested in expanding their presence in Africa through the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative.
The initiative has already invested $24 million in Andela, a start up which trains African tech engineers in Lagos and Nairobi, Kenya.
