Mary Oladejo, and indidgene of Oyo town, on Sunday won the 19th edition of the annual Miss Oyo State beauty pageant.
The pageant organised by Nubian Diamond, owned by ace broadcaster, Isaac Brown, held at the Jorgor Centre, Ibadan.
Nineteen contestants made it to the boot camp, which lasted for over one week.
Among the contestants were graduates, undergraduates, and self-employed youths.
Oladejo rwent home with a Toyota Corolla Saloon car, two plots of land, a complete dining set, freezer, among other things, courtesy of Odidiomo Foundation, owned by Olajide Adedeji, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North West/ South West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The pageant winner promised to use her reign to better the pacesetter state.
“I’ll do things that would always make people remember me even after my reign is over. My reign would be for only good things,” she said.
The second and third got a plot of land each courtesy of Titan Farms while second also got a plot of land courtesy of divine bricks.
All the 19 contestants got N100,000 each, courtesy of Odidiomo Foundation.

Outstanding Oyo Agency/Commission in 2021 shared by;
Oyo Housing Corporation
Oyo Western Security Network-Amotekun
Some of the dignitaries at the event include Yinka Ayefele; former Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni; Mrs Funke Adetuberu; Sen. Kola Balogun, representing Oyo South Senatorial District; Alhaja Bose Adedibu, the PDP South West women leader among others.
