A thanksgiving service is being organised for popular chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW) in Lagos State, Musiliu Akinsanya, a.k.a MC Oluomo, who is back in the country after few weeks in the United States of America.
He was ferried to the US for treatment from stab wounds inflicted on him on January 8 during a campaign rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The thanksgiving service is holding today January 31, 2019 at Jalisco Stadium, Oshodi, Lagos.
Renowned Islamic cleric and preacher, Sheik Muyideen Ajadi Bello is the guest preacher at the event.
Oluomo, after the attack on him at the rally at Skypower Ground, GRA, Ikeja, was first admitted at Eko Hospital. He left for US for further treatment after he was discharged.
He returned to Lagos on Wednesday, January 30.
