Russian businessman and founder of the controversial ponzi scheme Sergey Mavrodi, has died from a heart attack. He was aged 62.
Repoets said he died at a Russian hospital on Monday after suffering a heart attack on Sunday night.
Many Nigerians are still in pains over the money they lost in the ponzi scheme.
Between 2011 and 2016, Mavrodi launched MMM in India, China, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria. Their operations were later shut down in Nigeria, with many losing millions of Naira.
Twitter users took to the social media platform to air their views on his death.
Most of the comments were not pretty. Majority of those who commented believed that it was a clear case of Karma.
