Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has been ruled out of Super Eagles’ friendly against Algeria, scheduled for Tuesday, September 27, due to injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disclosed this in a post on its Twitter page, on Thursday.
“@NG SuperEagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is injured and out of the game against Algeria. He has left the team’s camp and returned to England. Get well soon Wilfred🙏,” NFF tweeted
Ndidi has been struggling with his fitness, which has limited his appearance for both club and country.
He returned to action for Leicester City at the beginning of the season after missing several months through injury.
He picked up his latest injury in training on Wednesday.
