The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos to take charge of the rape allegation case between the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Abuja, Biodun Fatoyinbo, and Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo.
Lawyer to the Dakolos, Mr Femi Falana, told The PUNCH on Monday that the IG ordered that the petitions filed by Fatoyinbo in Abuja and the ones filed by the Dakolos in Lagos be merged and investigated in Lagos where the Dakolos live.
Recall that the Dakolos had received a police invitation at the weekend even though the singer and his wife accused the police of coming to their house armed in order to intimidate and harrass them.
