Three men in a Toyota Sienna car were kidnapped last night by suspected herdsmen on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Reports said the driver of the vehicle who escaped said most of the kidnappers numbering 15 spoke Hausa and only one conversed in English.
The bandits were said to have blocked the Ajebo axis of the expressway to kidnap their victims. and kidnapped three persons.
It has now been confirmed that those kidnapped were two staff of Ladia Hospital, Apata, Ibadan and son of the Dr. Oladipupo Sule, the Chief Medical Director of the the hospital.
Dr Sule gave his kidnapped son’s name as Kayode Sule amd identified the two other staff as Opeyemi Abifarin and Dele Adigun.
They were kidnapped aroun 7pm on Tuesday while travelling in the Toyota Sienna belomging to Lafia Hospital. They were on their way back from Lagos where they had gone to buy drugs, Dr. Sule said.
The CMD said the vehicle had been recovered by the policemen at the Ogunmakin Police Station in Ogun State. He also said his family is yet to hear from the kidnappers.
