Nigeria’s coronavirus cases passed 12,000 on Saturday, 100 days after it first recorded its first case on February 27, 2020.
This was after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 389 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The NCDC made the announcement via its Twitter handle, stating that no fewer than 342 patients have died from coronavirus-related complications in the country.
