Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has come under fire from many Nigerians after he referred to Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Hameed Ali, as a monkey.
Fani-Kayode’s words came in reaction to the drama that played out in the senate last week following Ali’s refusal to wear the Customs uniform as mandated by the senate.

Ina tweet at the weekend, Fani-Kayode said:
The arrogant, stubborn and ugly little monkey called Ali that refuses to wear his uniform before the Senate is insulting the Nigerian people
The Senate should insist that he appears before them STARK NAKED. If he refuses they should arrest him and have him brought in chains.
Those words however did not go down well with most Nigerians, with most of them describing Fani-Kayode’s expression as “gutter language” not expected from a man of his calibre.
