A 2015 NYSC batch B Corps member, Ahungwa Isaac Sekav, who completed his service year in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, recently, is riding a bicycle to Benue, his home state, instead of taking a bus.
He started the trip, which he called, “Patriotic Tour”, on Saturday, November 5, moving from Ibadan to Makurdi.
The Benue born graduate of Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi said the 14-day biking is his reaction to the current economic hardship in the country. He said it was to stress that Nigerians can only survive and avoid the current hardship only by HARDWORK, BELIEF, PERSEVERANCE, and DETERMINATION.
He is expected to meet with Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, on arrival.
