Former ALGON chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye (MDII) has commiserated with family, friends, associates and traditional rulers in Oluyole Local Government Area over the passage of Alaba of Abanla, Oba Tiamiyu Labiyi Oladipo, who joined his ancestors on Tuesday.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his media office on Wednesday, Abass-Aleshinloye described Oba Oladipo as a modest and compassionate ruler, adding that his lifestyle would remain a source of inspiration to people.
The former council boss added that Oba Oladipo was a loving and dependable traditional ruler who deeply cared for his people, demonstrated a strong commitment to their welfare and the development of his town.
“Oba Oladipo lived a long andfulfilled life. His passing was still a rude shock to all those who adore him for his forthright disposition, truthfulness, and sense of compassion.
“The late Alaba was a peaceful man who led the people with love and brought peace to the kingdom. He was a great man who did very well for his people, lived a humble life and also offered selfless service to the community,” he said.
Abass-Aleshinloye extended his condolences to the late monarch’s family, the Oluyol traditional council and the people of Abanla, urging them to find solace in the fact that Oba Oladipo lived an impactful life of service to humanity, his town, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
