Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has won the golden boot award for the highest goal scorer at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt with five goals.
He is the second Super Eagles player, after late Rashidi Yekini, to win the AFCON golden boot award with five goals. He is however the sixth Nigerian player to win the award after Segun Odegbami, Yekini, Julius Aghahowa, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Emmanuel Emenike.

Algeria on Friday night beat Senegal to win the trophy after 29 years of waiting. They won it last in 1990.
