A new Head of Department (HOD) has been appointed at the Department of Social Work, University of Ibadan.
The new HOD, Associate Professor Mobolaji Isaiah Ojedokun, assumed office on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Ojedokun succeeded Professor Titilola Adebowale, whose tenure ended on July 31, 2024.
The new HOD is a member of Association of Social Work Educators of Nigeria (ASWEN) and other professional bodies.
On assumption of office, Ojedokun promised to uphold the vision and legacies of the founders of the department.
He also promised to make the department a reference point in the country.
The new HOD thanked his colleagues, staff of the department and students for the confidence reposed in him.
