In furtherance of his contact and familiarization with the residents of Ibadan North West/South West federal constituency, the House of Representatives candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, has promised to ensure an unprecedented grassroots development if given the mandate in the 2019 elections.
The gave the assurance at various meetings at the weekend when he continued his awareness tour to all communities and different group of residents, pressure groups and commercial operators at the ward 12, Ibadan South West Local Government Area.
Olatubosun who was first hosted at the staff quarters of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Moor Plantation thanked the residents of the college and its environs for accepting his candidacy.
Olatubosun who was joined at the parley by the candidate of the party for the state constituency ll, Abeeb Idowu Balogun promised to model a grassroot administration with the use of people-driven approach to provide projects across the 21 wards within his jurisdiction.
At Bembo-Logudu axis of Apata, Olatubosun who was conducted round the residences and meeting points of community and opinion leaders by executives and members of ACCOMORAN, promised baales, chiefs and people of the area of time to time developmental presence to bolster socio-economic activities.
Meanwhile, a non-governmental organization called The Pillar and Vision Foundation has teamed up with Olatubosun’s mobilization crew to help actualise his ambition.
The group which announced this at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku on Sunday said the decision borne out of the wish of residents of the two local government areas in the constituency.
Chief (Mrs) O. Allen, the Ibadan South West coordinator stated that it was imperative for the body to identify with the ambition of Dr. Olatubosun in projecting his vision to the people across the lengths and breadths of the constituency in order to get it right in the next political dispensation.
