The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, was the sync sure of all eyes at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, where he went to watch a live match between between the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and Ifeanyi Uba Football Club.
The monarch, who sported a blue T-shirt and a cap, sat at the Very Important Personality (VIP) section of the stadium for the evening match.
The match ended in 2-2 draw, giving the visitors the opportunity to leave Ibadan with one point.
The monarch said he was at the stadium to boost the morale of 3SC players, adding that he would give the football club all the support it needs to recover its lost glory.
Oba Asetunji told reporters after the match: “I’m here to show the stars will shine again. The good days will be back. I will give the club all the support needed to help it recover her lost glory. ”
