Olumide Bakare’s death painful, but am glad he lived a fulfilled life – Ajimobi

Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has commiserated with the family, friends and associates of Mr. Olumide Bakare on the passing away of the veteran actor.

In a statement issued in Ibadan on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Mr. Yomi Layinka, the governor said the untimely death of Mr. Bakare was very unfortunate.

Although the governor noted that the late actor had been on admission at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan for a heart-related disease, he however expressed the regret that he (Bakare) died at a time he had fully recuperated and back to acting.

He described Bakare who had featured in several films as a versatile actor whose contributions to the development of the film industry as would be sorely missed.

According to the governor, rather than mourning the deceased, he should be celebrated as he lived a fulfilled life, both as an actor and family man.
