The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the list of governorship candidates and their deputies in Ondo State, ahead of the election scheduled to hold on October 10.
The list posted by INEC on its Twitter handle on Friday Indicated the names of 17 political parties, their candidates and running mates.
The parties include the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and 15 other political parties.
The list, which also indicated the age of the candidates, their academic qualifications and their gender, also stated that none of the candidates is disabled.
APC candidate and incumbent governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu with his PDP contender, Eyitayo Jegede, were included in the list.
