The chairman of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Osun State , Hon. Sunday Bisi, has tasked the executives and members of the party to be more united and disciplined for them to consolidate on the success which the party has recorded in past elections in the state.
Bisi, who made the declaration at the inauguration of the party executives for Ijesa North, Ijesa South and Ife federal constituencies, urged the newly inaugurated executives and members of the party to put party interests above thier personal interests and be alive to thier responsibilities.
It would be recalled that Osun PDP Chairman has been inaugurating party executives across the nine federal constituencies in the state and it was the turn of Ijesa North, Ijesa South and Ife federal constituencies over the weekend.
The chairman spoke at Ijebu Ijesa , the headquarter of Ijesa North Federal Constituency, which hosted party leaders in the constituency from the two local governments.
The highlight of the inauguration was the official handing over of the party flag to the newly elected chairmen from Obokun and Oriade Local Governments, Hon. Party discipline is my priority as the era of impunity is over in the party; any aggrieved party member should use all the party mechanism in resolving all grievances, any erring members will be disciplined according to the constitutional provisions of the party. We want more members to join PDP and it is the responsibility of party excos and leaders to woo more members to the party and continue on the path of being a formidable united family in Ijesa North,” Bisi said.
