The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government, Oyo State is set to commence the construction of a permanent party house, becoming the first local government chapter in the state to do so. The building is going to be located in Idi-Ayunre, headquarters of the local government area.
The leader of the party in the local government, Hon. Lekan Adeyemo disclosed this to members at their weekly meeting, that the construction of the party house is a major project of the party and would be accorded top priority.
A chieftain of the party, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan had assured the party that Oluyole APC would have a permanent party house. He promised party leaders that he would join in raising funds for the project.
Hon Adeyemo praised Olaosebikan and assured that the project will be accorded top priority.
He said: “We all know that Oluyole is a foremost local government not only in Oyo State but in the country, thus having the first permanent party office would only further assert to our number one position in the comity of councils”.
Hon. Tunde Odemakin, the Vice Chairman of the party in the local government who presided over the meeting enjoined members to continue to give their best to the party and pray for greater successes for the Governor Abiola Ajimobi, the State Chairman of the party, Chief Akin Oke, the local government chairman, Alhaji Waheed Akinleye and all the leaders of the party.
