The Inspector General of Police(IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has asked the Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON) in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye to liaise with the Commissioner of Police(CP) in the state, Shina Olukolu, to facilitate their resumption back to office.
In a letter signed by the Principal Staff Officer to the IGP, DCP Idowu Owohunwa and addressed to the ALGON chairman, the police boss said the CP has been directed by the IGP to initiate appropriate actions in line with the opinion of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice on the matter.
