The Oyo State Government has declared tomorrow, Friday, August 31, 2018 as a work-free day, saying it is to allow workers who have not registered for the Permanent Voters’ Cards, to do so.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced that the registration will close on Friday.
A circular issued by the Secretary to the State Government on Thursday said Governor Abiola Ajimobi “directed that it is mandatory for all public/civil servants in the state to ensure that they duly register for their Permanent Voters’ Cards in the ongoing exercise by INEC which ends tomorrow, Friday 31/8/2018”
