Oyo State Government and Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), on Thursday, resolved the differences that led to the sealing of some business offices of the electricity distribution company in the state.
In a statement jointly signed by the Commissioner for Energy & Mineral Resources, Barr. Seun Ashamu, and Chief Operating Officer(COO) of IBEDC, Engr. John Ayodele, the two parties, after a meeting at the State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, declared their readiness to work together to find an amicable resolution of all issues surrounding the recent sealing of the IBEDC offices in Ibadan by the state government.
The parties vowed to continue to work together in the interest of residents of the state.
They assured the general public that power would be restored as soon as possible.
The two parties agreed to work together in order to make electricity meters available to all residents of the state.
