The Oyo State Government has gone ahead with the Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting on the new Private Public Partnership initiative for schools in the state.
The meeting has commenced amid tight security at the House of Chiefs, State Secretariat, Ibadan

The meeting is holding in spite of the barage of criticisms and protests that have greeted to proposal since last week.
Recall that the same meeting disruted last week by labour movements in the state who accuse the government of attempts to privatise public schools.
The NLC in the state this morning announced that it was embarking on an indefinite strike to protest the alleged privatisation plans as well as non-payment of their salaries.
