The Model Smart School in Ibadan will conduct its Computer Based Test entrance examinations for Early Childhood Care Development Education (ECCDE), Primary and Junior Secondary School levels on September 16, 2024.
The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OyoSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Adeniran, disclosed this in Ibadan, on Friday.
He stated that the board expects a large turnout of prospective learners.
The Model Smart School, located at Sogunro, Ibadan is co-owned by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and OyoSUBEB.
Adeniran who said the exercise will see the children attempting the examination on devices provided by the smart school emphasised that the prestigious UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School offers free and quality basic education.
He enjoined parents to take full advantage of the opportunity presented by the school, which is committed to equipping students with 21st-century skills through its modern computer gadgets and innovative teaching methods.
The chairman said officers from UBEC will also be present at the centre to observe the CBT exams.
Adeniran who said some parents have registered their children via www.oyostatesmartschool.com, urged other interested parents to register their children before the exams date.
