Against the backdrop of the prevailing economic situation in Nigeria, Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) has disclosed that it plans to review the price of its premium package.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Sola Akande, disclosed this while featuring on a radio in Ibadan.
He urged people to subscribe for the premium package now, noting that the price may change soon.
“We have bounced it severally, but that premium has to change. We are trying to see how we can still ensure that it doesn’t go haywire.
“I want to plead with you, pick N13,500 for yourself now. Probably before the last quarter to this year, we might have to review the tariff.
“We are actually reviewing it. We have actuarials working on it. You can pick N13,500 for yourself; for your family of four, you can do N47,250; for family of six, you can do N60,250. It is for your own good,” he said.
