A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ojo Madueke, is dead.
Maduekwe, a former Minister of Transport, Foreign Affairs and ex-Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada died on Wednesday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
It was learnt that the former minister  slumped and was confirmed dead at a private hospital where he was transported for treatment.
Maduekwe arrived the airport ill onboard an international flight and slumped as he was being transported to the Turkish Hospital in the capital where he was confirmed dead.
Madueke was the National Secretary of the Senator Makarfi-led faction of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also Secretary of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) until his demise.
