In order to ensure his constituents live a healthy life and are free form all forms of ailments, the lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Akin Alabi, has set aside funds to assist those suffering from medical challenges.
Every month, the federal lawmaker doles out funds to support constituents that require financial support for their medical challenges. The challenges could be money to buy drugs or to pay for surgery.
On why he doles out funds to support constituents suffering from medical challenges, Hon Alabi said: “Of course, we cannot solve all the issues but I do my bit. This is one project I plan to enlarge in the coming years.”
“I have so many pictures of people we have done this for but I think it will be disrespectful and distasteful to share pictures of sick people,” he added.
Hon Alabi promised to continue doing his best for for his constituents, adding that they will enjoy more dividends of democracy if they vote him for a second term as their representative.
