Akinwande Soji-Ojo
The remains of the late chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barr Isaac Omodewu, has arrived Nigeria from the United States of America.
Omodewu passed away in the United States on August 19 after a protracted illness. He was aged 61.
The body of the former commissioner under late Governor Abiola Ajimobi arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport on Thursday afternoon around 1:20pm.
His remains was received by the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen AbdulFatai Buhari; APC governorship candidate in the 2023 election, Sen Teslim Folarin; former ALGON chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye among others.
Omodewu would be buried on Friday, September 13, after a funeral service at First Baptist Church, Otu, in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of the state.
