Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja on Friday.
The player joined a delegation of Ogoni elders led by G.N.K. Gininwa, the monarch of Gbenemene Tai, who paid a courtesy call on the president.
Yobo, an indigene of Rivers state, currently serves as the senior special assistant on sports to Governor Nyesom Wike.
Recall that in the buildup to the 2015 presidential election, Yobo was a staunch campaigner for former President Goodluck Jonathan who eventually lost the election.
