Following the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the presidential election held on Saturday, Osun State governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, led a jubilant crowd on a ‘thank you’ tour around Osogbo, the state capital on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), platform on which President Buhari ran won the election in Osun State. While the APC polled 347,634 votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, polled 337,377 votes.
