Vice President Kashim Shettima has decorated the new acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.
The ceremony took place at the State House on Tuesday afternoon, following Egbetokun’s appointment by President Bola Tinubu, on Monday night.
The ceremony was attended by the new National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; Chairman, Progressives Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma; the president’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the immediate past IGP, Usman Alkali.
