Nigerian singer, Tiwatope Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the University of Kent, in United Kingdom.
The university disclosed this in a post on its Twitter page.
In the post, the institution shared singer’s pictures in graduation gown as she received the certificate at Canterbury Cathedral, on Friday.
The pictures were captioned: “Congratulations Dr @TiwaSavage! We’re super proud to have awarded the Queen of Afrobeats an honorary doctorate at Canterbury Cathedral this morning.”
