While parading the bodies of the robbers at Agugu Police Station, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Sam Dan Adegbuyi at Agugu police station, said the robbers numbering about eight stormed Ogbere-Kayinsi and Orita-Merin area and shot at a police sergeant and rob other victims of their valuable properties including mobile phones, money, among others.

Adegbuyi who was represented by the State Police Public Relations Officers, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said:”A distress call was made to the station which resulted in a gun battle with the robbers and two of the robbers were shot dead. These criminal gangs have been responsible for many spate of robbery attacks in many parts of Ibadan until nemesis catch up with them today. This feat achieve today by the police is an indication that this state is not a safe haven for criminals again, therefore they should stay off”.
