Pope Francis has invited Hot Right Now singer, Rita Ora, to sing at a ceremony to mark the canonisation of Mother Teresa.
Rita, 25, would therefore be bringing her unique blend of pop perfection and subtly provocative sass to The Vatican.
Recently on late night show, Jimmy Fallon, Rita expressed her joy at the invitation from the Holy See, saying:
‘It’s massive, I’m really looking forward to it. It’s actually to celebrate Mother Teresa, who has now become a saint.
‘It’s a real honour, and I don’t know if anyone’s really done the whole Vatican venue thing before,’ she added – marking just another landmark in her already illustrious career.
‘I looked at the guest list and I see the Pope! I thought, what do you wear to see the Pope?’
We’ll see what she wears tomorrow as the canonization takes place on Sunday. Mother Teresa finally becomes a saint on Sunday.
