Pope Francis has described the terror attack on Paris which has left up to 150 people dead as a tiny part of the larger third world war.
In a telephone interview with TV2000, the television station of the Italian Bishop’s Conference, the Holy Father said:“There is no justification for such things, neither religious nor human. This is not human.
“It is difficult to understand such things, done by human beings.”
The pope said he was praying for the families of the victims, for France “and for all those who suffer.”
Pope Francis has described global violence in the 21st century as a “third word war.” Asked whether he saw the attacks in Paris as an another element of that war, he said, “This is a piece of it.”
