Veteran yoruba actress, Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi is dead.

The actress who hailed from Olla in Kwara State, died at her residence in Ibadan,Oyo State.

Orisabunmi didn’t die of COVID-19- Nephew

The death of 60-year-old Orisabunmi was confirmed by the President of Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, on Wednesday.

“She died last night,” Mr Latin said

Another TAMPAN member,Tunde Ola-Yusuff also announced the theapian’s death in a Facebook post.

“She left without goodbye. The sudden death of Mrs. Folake Aremu (ORISABUNMI) has been announced.

“Really a shock to everyone. Iya Oosa, may God rest your Soul among the righteous,” Ola-Yusuff wrote.

Her death came four months after the demise of her ex-husband, Jimoh Aliu, popularly called Aworo, under whose tutelage she rose to prominence in the movie industry.
