The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has disclosed what his major challenge is in handling three portfolios.
Speaking at the Federal Government Town Hall Meeting in Lagos today, the Housing sector is the most challenging, owing to the fact that the successful housing models of the past few decades have not been sustained.
“Housing is my most difficult responsibility”, Fashola said.
He however, said his ministry is currently working towards the creation of a good and sustainable housing model that will be beneficial to all Nigerians.
Fashola added: “In my ministry, results are measured by how much power you generate, how many roads and houses you build.”
He went on to stress that even while Nigerians are in doubt as to whether the change promised will come to fruition, ‘we haven’t achieved this results but we shall’.
