The Managing Director of the Petroleum Product Marketing Company (PPMC), Mr. Haruna Momoh, has reportedly been sacked, shortly after eight Group Executive Directors of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) were removed on Wednesday.
More directors in the NNPC are expected to get the boot in the coming days as part of plans to sanitize and restructure the corporation after the appointment of Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the Group Managing Director (GMD).
The number of directorates in the NNPC has been reduced from eight to four. The new directorates and their newly appointed GEDs are:
Directorate of Refining and Engineering – Dr M.K Baru,
Directorate of Exploration and Production – Mr Denis Nnamdi
Directorate of Commerce and Investment – Mr Bankole Komolafe
Directorate of Finance – Mr Isiaka Abdulrazak
