Ex-Super Eagles player and coach, Christian Chukwu, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rangers Football club of Enugu.
The Enugu State government confirmed the appointment on Monday.
The club also tweeted: “Chairman Christian Chukwu is now the GM/CEO of the club”
Imama Amapakabo remains the club’s head coach.
The former GM, Ozor Chibuzo, was sacked by the Enugu state government after poor run in the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Rangers has recorded one win, three draws and a defeat and are currently placed 12th on the table.
Chukwu’s appointment takes effect immediately and the new management is expected to halt the unimpressive showings of the Flying Antelopes.
