Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has stated that the current recruitment exercise for teachers as well as other job recruitments in the state, is open to both indigenes and non-indigenes in the state.
In a tweet on Friday, the governor stressed that the indigene/settler dichotomy does not exist in the state, as it “has long been abolished”.
His words “The Indigene/Settler dichotomy has long been abolished in Kaduna. If you’re a Nigerian residing in Kaduna, and pay your taxes in Kaduna, you’re from Kaduna and can apply for our job recruitments if you’re qualified. Recruitment for qualified teachers ends on Sunday, apply now!”
He also reposted the recrutment advert.
