West Ham United playmaker, dimitri Payet, has refused to play for the club, wanting to force a transfer out of the club, manager Slaven Bilić has said.
Bilic, at a press conference on Thursday said he felt angry and disappointment at Payet’s attitude.
Bilic said: “I have a situation with a player. It is Dimitri Payet. He wants to leave.”
“We have said we don’t want to sell our best players but Payet does not want to play for us. We are not going to sell him.
“This team, the staff, we gave him everything, we were always there for him. I feel let down. I feel angry.”
“We are not going to sell him. This is not a money issue. We gave him a long contract.”
French club Marseille are reportedly weighing up a £35million bid to bring the midfielder back to the club.
The 29-year-old, who spent two seasons at the Stade Veledrome before making the move to East London in 2015, is said to be agitated with the Hammers’ failure to build on last term.
