The Justice Ayo Salami led Judicial Commission of Inquiry instituted to probe the suspended acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has recommended his outright sack.
The panel which investigated the activities of the commission under Magu and various allegations of corruption levelled against the suspended chairman had earlier on Friday presented its report to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
The various allegations of corruption and misconduct among others were raised by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of JJustice, Abubakar Malami after a series of petitions against the former czar of the anti graft agency.
In addition to recommending Magu’s sack, the panel also recommended that the President appoints a new chairman for the anti graft agency from outside the Police.
