Remember Slumdog Millionaire, that British-Indian blockbuster that swept Oscar awards in 2008? Remember the three child actors in the movie – Rubina Ali (Lakita) and Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail (younger Salim) and Ayush Mahesh Khedekar (younger Jamal)?

Rubina Ali
Rubina is a smashing beauty at 16, currently living in Mumba. She recently told Indian Express:
It’s every girl’s dream to be a heroine. I definitely want to be in the movies.
Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail
The Express Tribune recalls that Azhar who played the younger version of Salim — the brother of the film’s lead character Jamal, got an opportunity to accompany the cast of Slumdog Millionaire to Los Angeles for the Oscars ceremony.
Following the film’s success, he got an opportunity to act in Bollywood’s 2009 film Kal Kisne Dekha.
Ayush Mahesh Khedekar
Ayush played the younger Jamal. The young talent is still in acting. He starred as the main protagonist in his latest film Ek tha hero.
