Ministerial nominee, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, on the floor of the senate today, said she would not withdraw her case at the Taraba Governorship tribunal because of her ministerial nomination.
“I will not withdraw my case at the Taraba Tribunal because I’ve been appointed Minister”, she said.
Mama Taraba, as she is fondly called, also debunked claims that her nomination was compensation for her failed governorship bid in Taraba State.
And talking about corruption in the Judiciary, Senator Alhassan said: “The key players of corruption in the judiciary are the bar and the bench”
