The lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Prof. Adeolu Akande, former Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, on Wednesday, Alli described Akande as a distinguished legal luminary, esteemed academic and dedicated public servant.
He lauded Akande’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s telecommunications sector during his tenure as NCC Chairman.
Alli said Akande’s visionary leadership has greatly enhanced digital connectivity and fostered economic growth across the nation.
The lawmaker also hailed Akande’s contributions to academia, describing him as an inspiration to countless students and colleagues, with his profound knowledge and dedication to scholarship.
